Business Development Manager - Contract Logistics

Location: Abu Dhabi

Role Description:

The role involves identifying, developing, and securing new business across our various business segments by targeting potential prospects and market opportunities, analyzing their existing logistics solutions, designing innovative alternatives to enhance cost efficiency and competitiveness, and effectively presenting these solutions to prospective clients. This role combines consultative solution selling, presales support, and relationship building, with clear responsibility for achieving defined sales targets in the 3PL space across the UAE and wider Middle East region.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow a strong pipeline of clients for Flexigistic warehouses and distribution centers across target markets
  • Provide presales technical and functional consultation to prospective clients, ensuring solutions align with their supply chain and logistics needs
  • Prepare, present, and refine compelling technical and commercial proposals that clearly articulate the value of Flexigistic's 3PL services
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through negotiation and closure, with consistent follow-up on all opportunities
  • Achieve or exceed assigned sales and revenue targets while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with internal teams (operations, finance, and management) to ensure proposed solutions are feasible and commercially sound.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Transport, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a closely related field
  • 6–8 years of proven client-facing sales and business development experience within the 3PL industry in the UAE or wider Middle East region
  • Strong understanding of third-party logistics, warehousing, and distribution center operations
  • Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED14,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
