The Diesel Business Development Manager is responsible for driving sales growth of diesel fuel products by developing new business opportunities and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers. This role focuses on commercial, industrial, transportation, agricultural, and government clients while promoting reliable and sustainable fuel solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and close new sales opportunities for diesel products
- Manage and grow relationships with existing customers to ensure long-term contracts and repeat business.
- Prepare pricing proposals, contracts, and supply agreements.
- Track market trends, fuel pricing, and competitor activity.
- Coordinate with operations and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate fuel delivery.
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental standards
- Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and CRM data
- Travel to customer sites, industry events, and meetings as required
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience in fuel sales, energy sales, or B2B sales is a must
- Very knowledgeable to diesel market and trends.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills
- Self-motivated and results-driven
- Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools
- Must possess a valid driver’s license; regular travel to customer locations is required.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field preferred
- 3-7 years of relevant sales experience
