The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving business growth through identifying and securing new opportunities within the Exhibition sector. This role requires a strategic approach to business development, coupled with strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, market trends, and competitor activities. Use insights gathered to develop targeted strategies for business growth.
- Lead Generation: Generate leads through various channels such as networking, cold calling, attending industry events, and leveraging online platforms. Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Understand their needs and requirements to effectively position our exhibition and event solutions and services.
- Proposal Development: Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to prospective clients. Tailor solutions to meet their specific project requirements and budget constraints.
- Negotiation and Closing: Lead negotiations with clients to secure profitable contracts. Work closely with the project management team to ensure smooth handover and execution of projects.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams including design, estimation, and project management to develop innovative solutions that meet client expectations and project objectives.
- Reporting and Forecasting: Maintain accurate records of business development activities and provide regular reports to senior management. Forecast sales targets and track progress towards achieving them.
- Industry Networking: Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to expand the company's network and stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
Qualification and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field. MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is a plus.
- Proven experience in business development within the Exhibition/Events Industry.
- Russian speaking will be an advantage but not mandatory
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
- Results-oriented with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify market opportunities and develop actionable plans.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED25,000.00 per month
