Job Purpose
To research and evaluate potential customers and sales opportunities This role involves maintaining client relationships, providing support, recommending new opportunities, and staying informed about industry trends and market activities
Job Responsibilities
Customer Relationship Management: To visit key existing Customers regularly and involving Superiors as part of CRM, to ensure their retention and to obtain more business from them
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as neededTo ensure that Credit Policies are adhered, and Debtors accounts are reviewed on a regular basis, and debts are collected as per the agreed Credit TermsCustomer Complaints Resolution: To handle Customers Complaints in coordination with the Customer Service and Operations DepartmentRisk Management: To ensure that Company is not exposed to avoidable risksTo coordinate in a harmonized way with the Accounts Department to ensure the mutual requirements and interests are served wellTo identify most suitable overseas agents and to play an active role in negotiating special rates and tariffs from them and other Shipping and Airlines Carriers and other Service providersTo carry out any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Head of Sales, CEO
Educational Qualification
- Preferably a bachelor’s degree
Work Experience
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
Competencies
A UAE driving license is a must
Good communication skillsKnowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, traffic rules and laws, customs procedures at ports and borders relevant to road transportation
