Business Development Manager - Government Projects

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager for Government Business to lead and coordinate large-scale government projects. This role will serve as a strategic interface between the sales team, tender operations, and market intelligence functions, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with business goals.

Key Responsibilties:

Lead end-to-end excution of large government tenders and projects.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and compliant bid submissions.

Monitor project milestones, risks, and deliverables across lifecycle stages.

Work closely with sales, Product Specialists to align project goals with sales strategies.

Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure readiness for tender participation and post-award execution.

Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.

Provide insights to shape tender strategies and business development plans.

Maintain awareness of government procurement regulations and policy changes.

Drive strategic planning for tender bids.

Support post-tender activities , including contract management and performance evaluation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.
Minimum 8 years of experience in project management, sales, and government tender process.

Strong understanding of government procurement frameworks ( e.g. GeM, 3PP frameworks).

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.

Proficiency in project management tools and reporting systems.

Experience working with cross-functional teams, familiarity with RACI frameworks and structured project governance.

Ability to lead strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives.

Additional Details

This job has a full time weekly schedule.

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
