We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead and scale sales for our Accounting, Tax, Audit, and Advisory services. This senior role focuses on driving revenue growth, building a strong sales pipeline, managing key client relationships, and aligning sales efforts with service delivery teams.

The ideal candidate has strong consultative selling experience in professional services and a proven ability to build and lead high-performing sales teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Leadership & Strategy

  • Develop and execute the sales strategy aligned with business goals
  • Head the end-to-end sales function, from lead generation to closure
  • Set sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics
  • Build and manage a structured sales pipeline

2. Business Development

  • Identify and acquire new clients across Accounting, Tax, Audit, Internal Audit, VAT, Zakat, and Advisory services
  • Develop relationships with SMEs, groups, free zone entities, and corporates
  • Drive retainer-based and recurring revenue engagements
  • Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities

3. Client Relationship Management

  • Act as a key contact for strategic and high-value clients
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and proposal discussions
  • Ensure smooth handover from sales to delivery teams
  • Maintain long-term client relationships and satisfaction

4. Team Management & Coordination

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales and business development team
  • Work closely with Partners, Tax, Audit, and Accounting teams
  • Coordinate with marketing for lead generation campaigns
  • Review CRM, reports, and conversion metrics

5. Proposals & Commercials

  • Oversee proposal preparation, pricing, and negotiations
  • Ensure commercials align with profitability and risk guidelines
  • Support tender submissions and corporate proposals

Candidate Profile

  • 5–8 years of experience in business development / sales
  • Prior experience in Accounting, Audit, Tax, or Consulting firms preferred
  • Strong understanding of professional services selling
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Leadership mindset with ability to build and scale sales teams
