Business Development Manager – Ice Cream Retail

Venus Group of Companies is looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager – Ice Cream Retail to lead retail sales growth, expand market coverage, and strengthen distributor and retail channel performance.

The ideal candidate should have solid FMCG sales experience, preferably in ice cream, frozen food, dairy, or temperature-controlled products, with a proven track record of achieving ambitious sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement retail sales strategies to increase market share and product distribution
• Manage and expand retail outlets, distributors, and wholesale networks
• Achieve monthly and annual sales and revenue targets
• Identify new business opportunities and expand market coverage
• Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends
• Ensure product availability, visibility, and merchandising standards at retail stores
• Lead and supervise sales teams, promoters, and field staff
• Coordinate with supply chain and operations to maintain stock availability
• Analyse sales performance and prepare weekly/monthly reports
• Build strong relationships with key retailers and distributors

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)
• 5–10 years of FMCG retail sales experience
• Experience in ice cream, frozen foods, dairy, or beverage industry preferred
• Strong knowledge of retail channel development and distribution management
• Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
• Willingness to travel within assigned regions

Pay: Rs100,000.00 - Rs200,000.00 per month
