Job Summary
As a Business Development Manager at Penta Express, you will lead strategic growth initiatives by driving new business, developing key customer relationships, and expanding our footprint in the international courier and logistics market. This role demands a high-performing professional with proven leadership, analytical, and client management skills who can deliver sustainable revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a regional sales strategy to achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.
- Identify, target, and secure new B2B customers, including exporters, importers, and eCommerce clients.
- Manage a sales pipeline using CRM tools to ensure accurate forecasting and performance tracking.
- Conduct high-level client meetings, presentations, and negotiations with key decision-makers.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with strategic clients.
- Collaborate with Operations, Customer Service, and Finance teams to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth execution.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities.
- Train, mentor, and support junior sales staff (BDEs) to enhance overall team performance.
- Represent Penta Express at trade events, exhibitions, and networking forums to promote brand visibility.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Business, Sales, or Logistics) from an HEC-recognized university.
- Minimum 1 year of field sales experience in the international courier/logistics industry.
- Proven record of achieving or exceeding revenue and volume targets.
- Strong business acumen with consultative selling and contract negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and able to work under minimal supervision.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory.
