The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in expanding the company’s presence in the joinery, fit-out, and interior design sectors. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role is responsible for driving business growth, building a strong client base, developing new market opportunities, and ensuring the company achieves its sales and profitability objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Market Growth & Expansion
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in joinery, fit-out, and interior design.
- Develop and execute strategies to increase the company’s market share and client portfolio.
- Conduct comprehensive market research to track industry trends, monitor competitors, and spot emerging opportunities.
2.Client Relationship Management
- Build and sustain strong, long-term relationships with clients, architects, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Act as the key point of contact for high-value clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery and repeat business.
3.Business Development & Sales
- Partner with the sales and technical teams to design tailored solutions and proposals that align with client requirements and project specifications.
- Prepare and deliver impactful business presentations to potential clients, showcasing the company’s expertise and capabilities.
- Lead and close negotiations, ensuring contracts are commercially viable and beneficial to both parties.
- Achieve and exceed defined sales and revenue targets in line with the company’s strategic objectives.
4.Leadership & Strategic Contribution
- Collaborate closely with the CEO to set business development goals and growth strategies.
- Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement of business processes and client acquisition approaches.
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities to strengthen brand presence.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 7–10 years’ proven experience in business development within joinery, fit out, or interior design sectors in the UAE/GCC.
- Strong network of industry contacts (architects, consultants, contractors, and developers).
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate market trends into business opportunities.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales and revenue targets.
