Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the logistics industry.
- Develop and implement strategic sales and business growth plans.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for expansion.
- Prepare and deliver proposals, presentations, and contract negotiations.
- Collaborate with operations, customer service, and finance teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery for clients.
- Meet sales targets, monitor performance, and provide regular reports to management.
- Attend industry events, exhibitions, and networking activities to promote the company’s services.
- Maintain a strong understanding of logistics solutions including freight forwarding, warehousing, transportation, and supply chain services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience in business development, preferably in the logistics or supply chain industry.
- Strong knowledge of logistics operations including freight, warehousing, customs, and distribution.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build relationships, identify client needs, and offer tailored solutions.
- Results-driven with a strong track record of achieving sales targets.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
