Business Development Manager – Oil & Gas (Structural Steel)

German Steel Cont. LLC is seeking a high-caliber Business Development Manager specialized in the Oil & Gas sector to spearhead our expansion into energy-related structural steel projects. We are looking for an experienced professional with a deep understanding of the structural requirements for oils & gas projects, and a proven track record of securing high-volume contracts.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Growth: Identify and secure structural steel fabrication packages for major Oil & Gas projects (Onshore/Offshore).
• Client Acquisition: Leverage an existing network of EPC Contractors, Consultants, and Energy Developers to position German Steel as a preferred partner.
• Prequalification Management: Lead the technical and commercial submission process for ADNOC and other major regional energy authorities.
• Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of upcoming tenders, shutdowns, and expansion projects in the regional energy sector.

Candidate Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering (preferred).
• Experience: Minimum 10 years of proven business development experience specifically within the UAE Oil & Gas structural steel industry.
• Network: An established database of contacts within ADNOC, EPC contractors, and global energy firms.
• Knowledge: Deep understanding of industry-specific standards (ASME, API, AWS) and the rigorous HSE/QAQC requirements of the energy sector.
• Skills: Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and contractual language skills.
