To drive our growth in the North region, we are hiring a dynamic Business Development Manager for our Peshawar office.

Role Overview

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for securing new corporate clients, managing key accounts, and increasing revenue through logistics and freight solutions. This role demands strong industry knowledge and the ability to build long-term B2B relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Corporate Sales & New Client Acquisition

  • Identify potential clients who require logistics, freight forwarding, customs clearance, trucking, or warehousing services.
  • Target industries such as manufacturers, textile exporters, importers, FMCG, pharmaceuticals, retail, and e-commerce.
  • Conduct meetings, presentations, sales visits, and negotiate contracts with corporate clients.

Client Relationship & Account Management

  • Maintain ongoing communication with clients to ensure high satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Understand client shipment needs and propose customized logistics solutions.
  • Resolve issues by coordinating with operations, customer support, and documentation teams.

Market Research & Business Strategy

  • Stay updated on freight rates, customs regulations, shipping lines, and new market opportunities.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, activity reports, and business proposals.
  • Recommend strategic business approaches to grow Bismillah Logistics in the Rawalpindi/Islamabad region.

Coordination with Operations Teams

  • Collaborate with logistics, clearance, and transportation teams to ensure timely execution of shipments.
  • Monitor shipments when needed and provide updates to key clients.
  • Identify process improvements to enhance client experience.

Revenue Growth & Targets

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Promote value-added services to maximize profitability.
  • Build partnerships with local vendors, carriers, and corporate networks.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of Corporate Sales experience, preferably in logistics, freight, supply chain, courier, or B2B services.
  • Strong understanding of freight forwarding, customs clearance, import/export documentation, and cargo handling.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong presentation and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle high-pressure situations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary: Up to Rs. 100,000 (based on experience)
