Job Descriptions:

Position Overview: The Business Development Manager for IT Software Products is a key role responsible for driving growth and expanding the market presence of a company's software products. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, understanding market trends, and developing strategies to increase revenue and market share.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Market Analysis and Strategy Development:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to target new business opportunities and expand market presence.
  • Monitor industry trends and provide insights to shape the company’s product offerings and sales strategies.

2.Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and targeted outreach.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
  • Understand clients' needs and challenges to tailor solutions that meet their requirements.
  • New Client Acquisition and Retention.
  • Prospecting and generating leads

3.Sales and Revenue Generation:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and growth objectives.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and demonstrations of the software products to potential clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to secure new business.

4.Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Work closely with the marketing, product development, and sales teams to ensure alignment with business goals and customer needs.
  • Provide feedback to the product development team based on client interactions and market demands.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional client service and support.

5.Performance Tracking and Reporting:

  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics and KPIs.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management on business development activities, opportunities, and results.
  • Adjust strategies and tactics based on performance data and market feedback.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field. An MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the IT software industry in HRMS/ DMS/ Asset Management/ CRM/ Travels. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing client relationships.
  • Skills:
  • Strong understanding of IT software products and solutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze market data and trends to inform strategic decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a client-focused mindset.
