Job Description
We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Business Development Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of corporate learning needs and a proven track record of forging long-term client relationships.

1. Market & Strategy Development:

  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, target markets, and emerging trends within corporate training, skills gaps, and human capital development.

  • Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to achieve sales targets and expand the company's market share.

  • Analyze competitor activities and offerings to ensure the company maintains a competitive advantage.

2. Sales & Client Acquisition:

  • Proactively generate new leads through networking, cold calling, attending industry events, and leveraging professional contacts.

  • Arrange and attend business meetings with prospective clients to understand their specific training and development needs.

  • Present, promote, and sell the company's training programs and services, effectively articulating the value proposition and return on investment (ROI).

  • Lead the entire sales cycle, from initial contact through to negotiation and contract closure.

3. Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships with key decision-makers (HR, L&D, Department Heads, C-suite).

  • Act as the primary point of contact for new clients, ensuring a smooth handoff to the delivery or account management team.

  • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional services to existing clients.

4. Proposal & Reporting:

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and instructional designers to develop tailored proposals, bids, and sales presentations that address client requirements.

  • Prepare and manage sales contracts, ensuring all terms and conditions are clearly defined and legally sound.

  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and client information in the CRM system.

  • Provide regular reports and sales forecasts to senior management.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field.

  • Experience:

    • Proven track record of success in a Business Development or strategic sales role, preferably within the Training, Consulting, or B2B Services industry.

    • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.

    • Experience with the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing.
