Job description

  • Drive new business development and grow our footprint within the targeted industry sectors.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue leads to build a healthy pipeline of opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with consultants, end users, EPCs, and key decision makers to influence specifications and secure long-term business.
  • Own the full sales cycle, from opportunity identification to proposal development, negotiation and closing.
  • Develop and execute account plans and strategies to achieve growth and top line targets.
  • Understand and navigate local procurement cycles, regulations, and industry-specific challenges.
  • Stay abreast of market trends, localization policies, and regulatory developments impacting the industry.
  • Collaborate closely with the internal team within the Kingdom and Local Product Expert to align on customer needs.
  • Regularly update CRM (Salesforce) with accurate customer and opportunity data

Profile
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field or equivalent through experience.
  • Proven track record in business development (B2B) and account management, preferably within the industrial and engineering sector in Saudi Arabia.
  • Strong network and experience working within the Oil & Gas, Construction, Power, Defence, Railway, Mining and F&B sector.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific challenges, procurement cycles and local regulations.
  • Familiarity with the specification process, including influencing product specifications with consultants, EPCs or end users.
  • Experience with vendor registration processes, including prequalification and approvals.
  • Awareness of current industry trends and localization initiatives (e.g. IKTVA)
  • Excellent lead generation, qualification, proposal development and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking, with the ability to assess customer needs and translate them into business opportunities.
  • Fluency in English is a must, Arabic is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel with the Kingdom as needed.
