Job Title: Business Development Officer

Role Overview

The Business Development Officer will play a pivotal role in driving institutional growth by strengthening brand visibility, increasing student admissions, and executing high-impact business development initiatives. This role involves strategic planning, multi-channel marketing execution, and close collaboration with academic, admissions, sales, and operations teams. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a proven ability to achieve enrollment and revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Marketing Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement integrated marketing and business development strategies aligned with institutional goals.
  • Identify new market opportunities, define positioning strategies, and enhance overall brand presence.

2. Campaign Planning & Execution

  • Plan, execute, and evaluate marketing campaigns across digital platforms, social media, print media, on-ground promotions, and events.
  • Ensure consistency in brand messaging and optimize campaign performance across all channels.

3. Content & Brand Communication

  • Oversee the creation of marketing collaterals including brochures, website content, blogs, advertisements, and social media creatives.
  • Ensure all communication aligns with the institution’s brand voice and effectively engages the target audience.

4. Market Research & Analysis

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to monitor industry trends, student behavior, and emerging opportunities.
  • Use data-driven insights to refine marketing strategies and improve campaign effectiveness.

5. Lead Generation & Admissions Support

  • Design and implement innovative lead-generation initiatives to increase inquiries and conversions.
  • Support the admissions team by strengthening lead nurturing processes and improving conversion rates.

6. Budgeting & Performance Tracking

  • Manage marketing budgets efficiently to ensure optimal return on investment (ROI).
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), prepare performance reports, and recommend actionable improvements.

7. Stakeholder & Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, alumni, educational consultants, and external partners.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of marketing and business development initiatives.

8. Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Lead, mentor, and support junior team members, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and performance excellence.
  • Ensure seamless coordination within the team and effective cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably in the education or EdTech sector.
  • Proven track record of achieving enrollment, revenue, or sales targets.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent analytical and reporting abilities with a data-driven approach.
  • Self-motivated, result-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as in cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to travel for marketing initiatives and business expansion activities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹25,500.00 per month
