Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and motivated Business Development Officer to help drive business growth and expand our client base. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, building strong professional relationships, and supporting the company's sales and growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and identify potential clients, partnerships, and market opportunities.
- Generate and qualify leads through networking, referrals, digital platforms, and market outreach.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with prospective and existing clients.
- Schedule and attend meetings to present company services and understand client needs.
- Manage and follow up on sales enquiries and business opportunities.
- Support the achievement of business growth objectives and performance targets.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and development activities.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Monitor industry developments, competitor activity, and emerging market trends.
Requirements:
- Degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related discipline.
- Previous experience in business development, sales, customer acquisition, or a similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and relationship management abilities.
- Self-motivated with a focus on achieving results and meeting targets.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM platforms.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
