Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Officer / Executive with proven experience in the UAE logistics and warehousing industry. The ideal candidate must possess strong market knowledge in transportation, warehousing, third-party logistics (3PL), land transportation, freight solutions, and supply chain services.
The candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, developing long-term client relationships, increasing company revenue, and expanding the customer portfolio across the UAE market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in logistics, warehousing, transportation, and 3PL services.
- Generate leads through market research, client visits, networking, and business meetings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, transport companies, and corporate customers.
- Promote company services including:
- Warehousing solutions
- Land transportation
- Third-party logistics (3PL)
- Distribution services
- Freight and supply chain solutions
- Prepare quotations, proposals, service agreements, and commercial negotiations with clients.
- Coordinate with operations and warehouse teams to ensure smooth service execution and customer satisfaction.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets set by management.
- Conduct market analysis and competitor monitoring within the UAE logistics sector.
- Follow up on client payments, contracts, renewals, and operational requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
- Represent the company professionally during client meetings and business presentations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of UAE experience in logistics, warehousing, transportation, or 3PL business development.
- Strong knowledge of UAE logistics market and transportation operations.
- Existing client database and market connections will be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets under pressure.
- Strong commercial understanding and customer handling skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.
