Business Development & Partnerships Lead (Media & Production)

About the Role:
We are looking for a results-driven Business Development & Partnerships Lead to drive revenue and strategic partnerships in Qatar’s media, government, and corporate ecosystem. This role is for a senior dealmaker who can convert relationships into revenue, with a deep understanding of local networks and decision-making processes.

What This Role Is:

  • A revenue generator, not an administrative or marketing support role
  • A relationship closer with proven ability to convert leads into contracts
  • Someone who understands how budgets, approvals, and decision-making work in Qatar

Core Responsibilities:
Revenue & Clients:

  • Identify and pursue paying clients across government, semi-government, corporate, and cultural sectors
  • Generate qualified leads and drive projects from first meeting to signed contract
  • Ensure repeat business by maintaining strong client relationships

Partnerships & Access:

  • Leverage existing networks to open doors with decision-makers
  • Build partnerships that deliver measurable revenue outcomes

Commercial Execution:

  • Collaborate on proposals, pricing, and aligning creative ambitions with client budgets
  • Track leads, proposals, pipeline status, and closed deals

Internal Discipline:

  • Provide weekly updates on leads, meetings, proposals, and deal status

Required Qualifications:

  • 7–12 years of experience in business development, partnerships, client services, or high-value sales
  • Proven track record of closing deals (not just supporting sales)
  • Direct experience in Qatar is required
  • Sector familiarity in at least one: Media/production, government communications, corporate communications, events, branding, or campaigns
  • Strong negotiation, commercial, and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluent in Arabic & English

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR7,000.00 - QAR8,000.00 per month
