Job Summary

The Business Development Project Manager is responsible for driving organizational growth by identifying new opportunities, expanding partnerships, managing key client accounts, and overseeing strategic projects from initiation to completion. This role combines business development, project execution, cross-functional coordination, and strategic planning to achieve revenue and expansion goals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Growth

  • Identify new business opportunities, markets, and potential clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, universities, agents, vendors, and strategic stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and client demands.
  • Develop proposals, pitch presentations, and strategic partnership plans.
  • Drive lead-generation initiatives through various channels.

2. Project Planning & Execution

  • Plan, initiate, and manage business development projects end-to-end.
  • Define timelines, allocate resources, and monitor project progress.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, sales, operations, counselling, finance) to ensure alignment.
  • Track project deliverables, generate reports, and ensure completion within scope, budget, and deadlines.

3. Client & Partner Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients and partners.
  • Handle onboarding of new partners and maintain seamless communication.
  • Ensure high-quality service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Resolve issues, follow up on leads, and maintain long-term client/partner relationships.

4. Sales Strategy & Revenue Management

  • Support development and execution of sales and revenue-growth strategies.
  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics.
  • Work closely with sales/counselling teams to improve conversion rates.
  • Prepare revenue forecasts, analysis reports, and monthly performance reviews.

5. Team Coordination & Leadership

  • Guide and support the BD team to achieve objectives and targets.
  • Provide training, motivation, and constructive feedback.
  • Coordinate inter-departmental tasks to enhance workflow efficiency.
  • Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and compliance in all processes.

6. Process Improvement

  • Develop and implement SOPs for BD, project management, and client engagement.
  • Optimize workflows to improve productivity and reduce operational bottlenecks.
  • Recommend tools, systems, and methods to enhance operational performance.

Required Qualifications & SkillsEducation

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
  • MBA preferred (optional).

Skills & Experience

  • 3–5+ years of experience in business development, project management, or related roles.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (Asana, Trello, CRM platforms, etc.).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to prepare reports and make data-driven decisions.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
