II. ROLE PURPOSE & OBJECTIVE


The incumbent will be primarily responsible to -
  • Acquire new Priority/HNI customers for liabilities from open market
  • Plan and execute activities with the objective of acquiring Priority/HNI customers
  • Digital Adoption- Ensure that all onboarded customers are using our digital banking channels
  • Ensure that Cross-sell targets assigned are met for Third Party Products such as Life Insurance, General Insurance, Health Insurance, Mutual Funds, SIP etc.
  • Ensure that other targets assigned such as Forex, Cards are met through NTB customers.
  • Ensure that Asset cross-sell is done basis target assigned (if applicable in respective branches)

IV. KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE


Business
  • Meet set targets on liabilities in terms of Priority/HNI open market acquisition & customer conversion via activities
  • Understand need and acquire Priority/HNI customers who meet the criteria for liability products through either of the below channels:
o Leads generated by branch staff and personal leads
o Activities
o Alternate channels
  • Maintain the database of the prospects, meet select prospects and manage the relationship thereafter till specified tenure
  • Digital Adoption- Ensure that all onboarded customers are using our digital banking channels
  • Ensure that Cross-sell targets assigned are met for Third Party Products such as Life Insurance, General Insurance, Health Insurance, Mutual Funds, SIP etc
  • Ensure that other targets assigned such as Forex, Cards are met through NTB customers.
  • Ensure that Asset cross-sell is done basis target assigned (if applicable in respective branches)
  • Share customer insights/product related feedback with the Sales Manager - Liabilities

Customers
  • Interact with customers in a courteous and professional manner; provide prompt, efficient and accurate services
  • Reduce customer dormancy and customer attrition by continuous engagement / interaction
  • Resolve customer queries on all products offered by the bank.

Internal Processes
  • Guide the customer to fill the ‘Account Opening Form’; ensure receipt and verification of KYC documents; obtain customer signatures on all mandatory documents
  • Strictly adhere & maintain compliance to KYC norms
  • Drive the usage of alternate channels such as Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, Rewards Program, ATM etc.
  • Adhere to all laid out Rules, Regulations and Internal procedural guidelines with utmost integrity.

Learning & Performance
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the liabilities products and services as well as a working knowledge of other products offered in the branch
  • Ensure adherence to training man-days/ mandatory training programs for self
Ensure goal setting, mid-year review and performance appraisal processes are completed within specified timelines


V. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OF KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS



Educational
Qualifications

  • Graduate, preferably in commerce and related streams



Experience

  • 3-5 year experience, preferably in sales



Certifications

  • AMFI & IRDA Certified



Functional Skills

  • Basic knowledge on retail banking products
  • Documentation skills
  • Process compliance focus
  • Communication skills: fluent in the local language
  • Basic knowledge on Competition’s offerings
