Business Development Representative

As a Business Development Sales Specialist at Smarterminds, you will be at the heart of our sales and growth strategy in Egypt. You will proactively reach out to potential clients via calls, emails, and social media, identify their needs, and present tailored solutions. This is a high-energy, client-facing role that requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution. You will collaborate with management and cross-functional teams to ensure an exceptional client experience and help shape our market approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Prospect and generate leads via calls, emails, LinkedIn, and networking.
• Qualify prospects and convert them into active opportunities.
• Maintain accurate CRM data and track sales progress.
• Collaborate with marketing and operations for seamless client onboarding.
• Consistently achieve or exceed assigned sales quotas.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Preferred 1–3 years of experience in business development or sales.
• Strong communication skills with fluency in English.
• Knowledge of CRM tools (HubSpot preferred) and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
• Ability to manage time effectively, adapt to changing priorities, and use emotional intelligence to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Self-discipline, organization, and follow-through on sales activities.
• You must be based in Egypt and willing to commute to our office in Cairo, Sheikh Zayed

Nice-to-Have

• Knowledge of Dutch, French, or German.
• Previous B2B or tech/startup sales experience.
• Familiarity with sales automation tools and pipeline forecasting.
