Position Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and communicative Junior Online Moderator to be the guardian of our online community's experience. Based in our Sheikh Zayed office, you will be the first point of contact for our users, ensuring our platform remains a professional, respectful, and valuable resource. You will monitor user-generated content, enforce community guidelines, and provide frontline support to maintain Toothify's reputation for excellence and trust.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Moderation: Monitor all user-generated content (product listings, reviews, comments, forum posts, and direct messages) in a timely manner to ensure they comply with Toothify’s community guidelines and professional standards.
  • Policy Enforcement: Identify, flag, and escalate inappropriate, fraudulent, or low-quality content. Take appropriate action as per established protocols, including content removal, user warnings, and reporting.
  • User Support: Serve as the first line of response to user inquiries and reports received via the platform’s reporting system and dedicated support email. Provide clear, professional, and helpful communication.
  • Quality Assurance: Review new product listings and supplier profiles for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with categorization rules.
  • Feedback Loop: Document common user issues, complaints, and trends to provide structured feedback to the Product, Marketing, and Senior Management teams to help improve the platform.
  • Crisis Management: Assist in managing potential PR or community issues by escalating critical incidents to the Community Manager or team lead immediately.
  • Platform Expertise: Maintain an in-depth and up-to-date understanding of the Toothify platform’s features, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Order Flow: Follows up on the order execution from the start to the end to make sure that the client is satisfied (the client adding it to the portal to the vendor receiving it and preparing it to the carrier receiving the order from the vendor to the client receiving the order and paying for it )

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Nationality: Egyptian national preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Language Skills:
  • Fluent (Native-level) Arabic: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong command of modern standard Arabic and common dialect.
  • Professional English: Strong written and spoken English is essential for reviewing technical listings and communicating with a diverse user base.
  • Technical Skills: Strong familiarity with digital platforms, social media, and online communities. Proficiency with basic computer applications (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office).
  • Soft Skills:
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for spotting inconsistencies.
  • Impeccable judgment and a strong sense of ethics and fairness.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient and empathetic approach to user support.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Resilience and the ability to handle exposure to sensitive or negative content professionally.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • A recent graduate or someone with 0-1 years of experience in customer support, content moderation, or a similar online role.
  • A keen interest in e-commerce, online marketplaces, and the healthcare/medical field is a significant advantage.
  • Discreet, trustworthy, and understands the importance of confidentiality.

Pay: E£6,000.00 - E£8,000.00 per month
