About the Role
AGS Management is seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development Representative (Sales + Team Lead) to join our team in Dubai. This pivotal role is responsible for driving revenue, expanding our client base, and leading a team of sales professionals. The successful candidate will combine a proactive sales approach with strong leadership and mentorship skills to ensure the continued growth and success of the company.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Supervision
- Oversee daily activities and performance of a team of Business Development Representatives. Provide regular coaching, training, and strategic guidance to enhance team effectiveness and productivity.
- Assign daily tasks, set priorities, and ensure productivity targets are met. Conduct weekly and monthly sales meetings to review pipeline progress and strategies.
- Report team results and performance metrics to upper management.
Lead Generation & Outreach
- Actively identify and prospect potential clients through cold calls, email campaigns, and professional networking platforms like LinkedIn.
- Follow up with prospects to secure meetings and build a pipeline of opportunities.
Client Engagement & Sales Meetings
- Meet with prospective clients virtually to assess security service needs.
- Prepare and deliver customized sales presentations and solutions.
- Handle objections and provide clear, compliant responses to client concerns.
Proposal & Contract Management
- Develop, present, and negotiate proposals and contracts. Ensure all agreements are compliant with company policies and industry regulations.
- Follow up consistently on pending proposals until deals are closed.
Relationship Management
- Maintain ongoing communication with clients to ensure satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities for upselling additional security services.
- Provide proactive support to resolve client concerns.
Market & Competitor Analysis
- Research competitors’ pricing, services, and market positioning.
- Stay current with security industry trends, licensing requirements, and emerging client demands to inform sales strategies and identify new business opportunities.
Reporting, Pipeline & CRM Management
- Maintain accurate client data, proposals, and interactions in CRM.
- Track outreach, meetings, proposals, and conversions daily.
- Provide weekly/monthly performance and pipeline reports to management.
- Forecast future sales to ensure steady business growth.
Networking & Business Development
- Attend online industry events, webinars, and networking sessions.
- Build long-term relationships with referral partners and decision-makers.
- Use LinkedIn and digital platforms to enhance visibility and connect with prospects.
Performance & Accountability
- Meet or exceed assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Ensure all sales activities comply with AGS financial policies and security industry regulations.
- Take full accountability for team results and individual sales performance.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 4–12 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or account management.
- Minimum 2 years in a team lead or supervisory role.
- Strong English communication skills (written & spoken).
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and objection-handling skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office Suite.
- Strong market research and prospecting abilities.
- Ability to work night shift (UAE time zone) aligned with Los Angeles operations.
