We’re an early-stage startup that has just released our mobile app and we are revolutionizing the social media industry and looking for a Business Development & Sales Director to own and grow our marketing efforts. This is a rare opportunity to join at the ground level, shape our brand strategy, and drive our growth pre-launch, during launch, and beyond.

If you’re a self-starter with experience building marketing from the ground up—especially in fast-moving startups—this could be the perfect fit. Pre-launch workload will be limited, but flexibility and drive are essential to push us successfully into the market.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Business Development & Sales Director to maintain and develop business relationships, help drive revenue growth, seek and expand strategic relationships, and uncover new opportunities within our unique business model. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building connections, business development, and finding viable new opportunities and revenue streams. Your success not only drives the potential for your role but also helps our customers directly through our business model.

This is a fully remote role requiring strong self-management, communication skills, and comfort working in a web-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and grow a strong network of business contacts, partners, and strategic relationships
  • Identify and pursue new revenue opportunities aligned with our business model and company vision
  • Collaborate with leadership to refine growth strategies
  • Lead sales and partnership conversations from initial outreach through close
  • Must have the ability to deal with high profile and high earning clients and major corporations
  • Research market trends, customer needs, and emerging opportunities
  • Represent the company professionally in meetings, calls, and digital communications

  • Proven experience in business development or sales

Required Experience

5+ Years in sales and/or business development

Compensation

($120,00-$140,000 Starting Salary + Sales Bonuses. This position is rewarded for driving sales and also performance driven.)

Why This Role Matters

Your role is to be the “face of the business” from a sales and business development perspective, and to work directly with the CEO to make executive decisions on business development and sales related issues. Your job is to represent us in a professional and personable way to help grow and maintain our business relationships and to help us develop new safe, ethical, revenue streams. You must be trustworthy, innovative, a critical thinker, and have a strong ability to sell.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
