Business Development Sales Representative

Full-time Hampton Roads, VA & Richmond, VACleaning Services

Job Summary

We're seeking a driven and outgoing Business Development Sales Representative to help grow our residential, commercial, and multifamily cleaning service accounts. This role focuses on generating new business, building strong client relationships, and working closely with the Operations team to ensure each new client is not only onboarded. But retained through excellent service and follow-up.

This position requires local travel between Hampton Roads and Richmond/surrounding areas.

Responsibilities-Sales & Business Growth

  • Identify, prospect, and secure new cleaning service clients
  • Generate leads through networking, cold outreach, onsite visits, and relationship building
  • Present service proposals, quotes, and customized cleaning packages
  • Maintain sales pipeline and follow-up schedule in CRM/Jobber

Collaboration & Client Retention

  • Work in close collaboration with Operations to ensure strong service delivery and client retention
  • Provide clear job details, notes, and expectations to operations staff
  • Follow through and follow up with new clients to ensure satisfaction
  • Maintain accountability and open communication across departments

Marketing & Branding

  • Build and execute email marketing campaigns
  • Create print marketing materials and promotional items
  • Coordinate quarterly/seasonal promotional deliveries
  • Support brand growth through local networking and outreach

Administrative Duties

  • Light scheduling and job coordination
  • Adding accurate notes and updates in our operations app
  • Maintain regular weekly/monthly reporting to leadership

Travel

  • Required travel between Hampton Roads and Richmond/surrounding areas for client visits, networking, and marketing activities

QualificationsRequired

  • Outgoing, professional, confident, and self-motivated
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to network independently
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
  • Ability to work collaboratively with Operations and represent the company professionally

Preferred

  • Previous experience in the multifamily apartment industry (big plus!)
  • Experience in business development, sales, or account management
  • Marketing experience—email campaigns, print marketing, promotional strategy
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, Jobber, or similar platforms

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Pay + Uncapped Commission

  • Monday–Friday
  • Occasional evenings/weekends for networking events

Job Type: Full-time
