Business Development Specialist

DOTSLAB Marketing is seeking a driven and experienced Business development specialist to join our team. If you have a strong background in sales within the marketing or advertising sector and experience dealing with government entities or public sector projects, we'd love to connect with you.

What You'll Do:

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities, with a focus on government and semi-government clients
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and long-term partnerships
  • Prepare proposals, pitch presentations, and tender documents tailored to client requirements
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver effective marketing solutions
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets

What We're Looking For:

Proven sales experience in marketing, media, or advertising (preferably with government clients)

Strong network and understanding of government procurement processes in the UAE

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

Based in Abu Dhabi and available for in-person meetings and follow-ups

Arabic language skills are a plus

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify Opportunities: Research and track government tenders, RFPs, and upcoming projects related to marketing, public awareness, and communications.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers in government ministries, departments, and public sector undertakings (PSUs).
  • Bid Management: Prepare and submit proposals, technical documents, and price bids in response to government tenders.
  • Sales Target Achievement: Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets for government contracts.
  • Tender Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to government procurement rules, documentation requirements, and timelines.
  • Partnership Development: Coordinate with internal teams (creative, production, legal, etc.) to prepare project pitches and deliverables.
  • Follow-up & Reporting: Track project progress post-award and maintain detailed sales reports and pipeline updates.
  • Policy Awareness: Stay informed about public procurement policies, government budgets, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
