QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
● Minimum of 1 years' experience in marketing, business development or sales in the industry related to behavioral health. 2+ years of experience preferred.
● Experience marketing or promoting programs for adolescent populations or virtual services, with a demonstrated ability to engage target audiences effectively.
● Must have experience using technology ie, computer, phone, Office, CRM, and other necessary tools
● Should have experience in an addictions/substance abuse behavioral health setting answering phones and speaking with persons who are in crisis and seeking help.
● Maintains current certification for this position:
○ HIPAA/Confidentiality Training
● Must hold Valid and active/unrestricted Arizona Driver's License
● Adhere to the Cornerstone Healing Center code of ethics
JOB SUMMARY:
The Business Development (BD) Specialist responsibilities entail managing a wide range of processes and projects that include local marketing and advertising and attending conferences at the discretion of the Director of Sales and Chief Marketing Officer. The BD Specialist, as a marketer, interacts with the public and professionals in the field including but not limited to: Intake, Alumni Relations, Clinical Directors, Managers, Attorneys, Courts, other health care intuitions, and other business professionals to ensure that the collateral and other communications reflect the company accurately. The individual working as the Business Development Specialist performs a wide range of administrative and marketing duties.
The Business Development Specialist reports directly to the Director of Sales.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Develop qualified leads and work in partnership with the referent, client, and intake department to admit eligible patients.
2. Developing and maintaining (new and existing) business relationships in the industry of assignment. Industry is assigned by the Director of Sales.
3. Assisting in coordinating various integrated communication and marketing activities.
4. Provides marketing and treatment information to prospective clients and the public relative to program services and intake processes.
5. Interfacing with counterparts and building collegial relationships with internal staff, referring clinicians and businesses and integrating clients with education and treatment services.
6. Coordinates business development, marketing, outreach, and activities.
7. Marketing Materials and collateral is disbursed directly by the BD Specialist to contacts and business relationships in the field.
8. The Business Development Specialist may perform public relations duties, referent communications, media advertisements, promotions and implementation of assigned marketing plans.
9. This is a flexible time position and includes attending events, being on-call, and representing the company at conferences at the discretion of the Director of Sales.
10. Attending conferences, company sponsored promotions, referent tours of the facility and events as designated by the Director of Sales.
11. Working with customers in developing case studies, references, and testimonials as part of marketing.
12. Attend to other duties as assigned by Manager and or department director.
13. Attends relevant outside of agency events to market and increase agency visibility.
14. Manage business accounts and contacts in the CRM (ZoHo).
15. Document accurate, records of contacts, (name, company, email contact, phone, etc).
16. Document activities for the assigned reporting of metrics in the level 10 management system.
17. Attends team meetings to discuss challenges, concerns and organizational development.
18. Participates in events and tours for prospective referral agencies and clients.
19. Comply with all agency Policies and Procedures and standards of operation. ‘
20. Uphold Cornerstone Healing Centers code of conduct, ethics, and Anti-Kick Back policy.
21. Duty Report violations of marketing activities to the Manager or Cornerstone Healing Centers Waste, Fraud, and Abuse hotline.
22. Complete all other duties as assigned/required.

KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES, AND ATTITUDES REQUIRED
1. This position requires a person who can speak in English clearly and precisely, write clearly and professionally and have familiarity with clinical and medical terms.
2. Knowledge of software programs for personal computer use, especially CRM, ZoHo, word processing, and email. This position requires proven computer skills with a variety of computer programs for narrative, data entry, and exporting data.
3. Ability to type, record, and accurately maintain CRM documentation of activities.
4. Knowledge and experience in working with chemically dependent and mental ill clients
5. Proficiency with effective communication of Cornerstone Healing Centers scope of services and programs with accuracy.
6. Ability to operate under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
7. Effective project management skills
8. Sound understanding of marketing principles.
9. Effective understanding of latest technologies and should identify how to apply them in marketing.
10. Work collaboratively and efficiently as a team member.
11. Be self-motivated, confident, energetic and creative
12. Effectively communicate and make best use of interpersonal skills.
13. Should be able to deliver creative and innovative thoughts to ownership regarding brand expansion.
14. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to carry out assigned projects to their completion
15. Must have proven ability in time management; Ability to plan and organize workload, and manage the projects and deadlines of him/herself.
16. Ability to maintain professional standards and demeanor, including the confidentiality of employee and client data and other sensitive information.
17. Demonstrated competence with, and continued commitment to respect for cultural differences and diversity.
18. Recognition of the limits of one’s own professional expertise and the willingness to seek supervision and/or support, as needed.

21. Strong dedication to sobriety and recovery.
22. Ability to pass background checks required by Cornerstone Healing Center.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
