Business Development Specialist

MARC for Medical Services and Scientific Research is an integrative research center that aims to advance science by conducting research in interdisciplinary disease areas. Our goal is to conduct high-priority and ethical basic, preclinical and clinical research, bridging the gap between science and community to improve health and quality of life.

MARC is looking to have an experienced candidate for Business Development Specialist

• Key responsibilities:
• Identify potential clients and collaborators across CRO, pharmaceutical, and biotech sectors.
• Conduct market research to map industry trends, competitors, and potential new service areas.
• Assist in maintaining an updated database of prospects and outreach activities (CRM support).
• Assist in the development of commercial proposals, quotations, and service presentations tailored to client needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, Biotechnology, Business Administration, or related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in business development, sales, marketing, or internship in a CRO, pharma, or life science company.
• Familiarity with clinical research services, the CRO business model, or healthcare sector is preferred.
• Professional with Digital marketing tools
• Strong interest in client-facing roles and market growth strategy.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Based in Cairo, Giza, or 6th of October City preferred
