Job Overview:
Simex Group is seeking a proactive and results-oriented Business Development Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities across our business units, driving revenue growth, expanding the client base, and strengthening our market presence through strategic client engagement and market analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities across all Simex Group divisions.
- Develop and implement structured business development strategies aligned with group revenue targets and market expansion plans.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders to generate repeat business and long-term partnerships.
- Proactively source leads through market intelligence, networking, cold outreach, and participation in industry events.
- Conduct detailed market research, feasibility studies, and competitor benchmarking to identify new growth opportunities and strategic positioning.
- Prepare and deliver high-quality proposals, capability statements, presentations, and commercial offers tailored to client and project requirements.
- Lead client meetings, negotiations, and commercial discussions to secure contracts and close deals effectively.
- Manage the full business development lifecycle, from lead generation and qualification to proposal submission, negotiation, and contract award.
- Support and coordinate tendering activities, including prequalification submissions, document preparation, pricing alignment, and follow-up with clients.
- Work closely with internal teams (operations, procurement, finance, and marketing) to ensure alignment on project requirements, pricing strategies, and execution plans.
- Track and manage the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely follow-up on all opportunities.
- Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities across Simex Group companies to maximize revenue potential.
- Represent Simex Group at local and international exhibitions, trade shows, and networking events, ensuring strong brand presence and lead generation.
- Coordinate post-award handover with operations teams and maintain client engagement to ensure satisfaction and identify additional opportunities.
- Monitor market trends, industry developments, and client feedback to continuously refine business development strategies.
- Prepare regular reports on pipeline performance, sales achievements, and business development activities for management review.
- Ensure all business development activities are conducted in line with company policies, commercial guidelines, and ethical standards.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience: 3–5 years of experience in business development or sales.
