We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Specialist with experience in medical billing and revenue cycle management (RCM) to identify opportunities, build relationships, and drive new business growth. The ideal candidate understands the U.S. healthcare market, including payer requirements, CPT/ICD coding basics, and the end-to-end medical billing process.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities in the medical billing and healthcare outsourcing space.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, physician groups, hospitals, and clinics.
- Present and promote company services to prospective clients through calls, emails, virtual meetings.
- Conduct needs assessments and create customized proposals based on client requirements.
- Collaborate with operations and RCM teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery for new clients.
- Track and manage leads, opportunities, and pipeline activities using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Stay informed on industry trends, payer policy changes, and competitors’ offerings.
- Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, or webinars to network and generate leads.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field (preferred).
- 4+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within medical billing, RCM, or healthcare services.
- Strong understanding of medical billing workflows, payer processes, and basic coding knowledge (CPT, ICD-10).
- Proven ability to generate leads, close deals, and meet revenue targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and MS Office Suite.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
