Our client, a prestigious organization in the arts and culture sector, is seeking a Business Development & Sponsorship Manager to drive strategic partnerships, sponsorships, and business collaborations across a diverse portfolio of cultural and artistic initiatives. The role focuses on identifying, cultivating, and securing high-value sponsorships, while ensuring the effective delivery of partner benefits and long term relationship growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the creation and execution of comprehensive business development and sponsorship strategies.
- Coordinate sponsor and partner activities, ensuring timely and effective delivery of all related initiatives.
- Evaluate current sponsorship models, recommend improvements, and align with best market practices.
- Research market trends to identify and target potential corporate sponsors.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of sponsorship opportunities.
- Develop strategies to expand partnerships across multiple sectors.
- Design tailored sponsorship proposals and partnership packages.
- Match sponsor objectives with suitable projects, ensuring maximum value and visibility.
- Manage sponsorship agreements and ensure compliance with all contractual obligations.
- Cultivate strong, long term relationships with corporate partners and sponsors.
- Identify client needs, re energize existing relationships, and maximize annual revenue growth.
- Deliver a high standard of customer service and responsiveness at all times.
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure seamless sponsor activation and benefit delivery.
- Oversee branding, hospitality, and PR commitments for all sponsors across programs and events.
- Support event operations by ensuring sponsor visibility and satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate sponsor databases and prepare periodic performance and impact reports.
- Track expenses and monitor the effectiveness of sponsorship initiatives.
- Contribute to organizational reporting, including post event evaluations and sponsor debriefs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in business development or sponsorship within events, arts, culture, or hospitality sectors.
- Strong knowledge of the UAE business and social landscape is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Strong background in business development, sponsorship, or partnership management.
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills with proven ability to communicate at senior levels.
- Proficient in proposal writing, partnership metrics, and client servicing.
- Solid understanding of marketing, branding, and event management principles.
- High level of professionalism, organization, and attention to detail.
