Business Development Trainee

The Business Development Trainee will support the Business Development team in identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, building client relationships, and contributing to the company’s growth. This role is ideal for fresh graduates who want to learn sales strategies, communication skills, and client handling in a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying and approaching potential clients through calls, emails, and online platforms.
• Support the BD team in maintaining and updating the sales pipeline.
• Conduct basic market research to understand industry trends and competitor activities.
• Prepare and share daily/weekly reports with the team lead.
• Assist in drafting proposals, quotations, and client communication.
• Follow up with clients regarding inquiries, meetings, and project updates.
• Participate in client meetings and note key requirements.
• Maintain organized records of leads, prospects, and client interactions.
• Learn and apply sales and communication techniques under supervision.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic understanding of sales and marketing concepts.
• Proactive, eager to learn, and good at following instructions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic online research.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of CRM tools.
• Basic knowledge of IT services or software industry.
• Presentation and report-writing skills.
