We are looking for a Business Development – Upwork Specialist with hands-on experience in Upwork bidding and LinkedIn outreach. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, identifying potential clients, and securing projects through Upwork and LinkedIn platforms.
This role requires someone who understands client needs, creates compelling proposals, and builds strong professional relationships to support the company’s growth in the global market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize the company’s Upwork profile to ensure maximum visibility and conversion.
- Identify relevant projects and submit high-quality, customized proposals.
- Generate and qualify leads via LinkedIn using organic outreach or Sales Navigator.
- Initiate conversations with potential clients and set up discovery calls.
- Collaborate with internal teams to prepare project estimates and proposals.
- Maintain a strong pipeline of potential leads and update CRM/reporting sheets regularly.
- Meet monthly targets for proposals sent, leads generated, and projects won.
- Stay updated with market trends and competitor activities.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Upwork bidding or business development (IT, SaaS, or digital services preferred).
- Proven success in winning projects on Upwork and generating quality leads.
- Experience in LinkedIn outreach and lead nurturing.
- Excellent English communication and writing skills.
- Strong negotiation and client-handling abilities.
- Familiarity with CRM tools or lead tracking systems is a plus.
