Fiat Powertrain Technologies of North America, Inc. (a global Brand under our parent company, Iveco Group) is looking for one Business Development/ OEM Sales Manager to play a primary role in developing and implementing a long-term sales strategy and customer engagement plan, to drive the region’s sales and profitability. FPT has the aspiration to grow market share in North America to a leading position to align with global performance and its 2030 SBP. Sales Strategy would focus on rental market acceptance, along with partnerships in construction, industrial and power generation.

Responsibilities (excludes duties that are less than 5% of time)

Establish direct contact with the customers to define the needs required to build an OEM engagement strategy and direct contact with the decision makers in the top 5 rental companies: building and implementing a plan to become an approved supplier for each of them.

Achieve yearly revenues and profit targets in the OEM and direct business area.

Manage relationships with direct OEM accounts and, over time, build a key account management (KAM) structure in the Region.

Collect market/competitive intelligence in each of the target market segments.

Understand competitive positioning and provide input for future product needs

Meet market sales objectives in terms of market share, volumes and margins assigned.

Support strategic global initiatives in the region related to new engine launches.

Develop industry partnerships to facilitate brand awareness and get engines into markets to support strategic growth plan.

Coordinate the activity with Central Functions (Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance and After Sales).

Manage current Management and Budget responsibilities for current OEM Region.

Travel: 50%-domestic / potential global travel to collaborate with central teams

Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Engineering, or Business-related field.

Minimum 10 years of experience in sales management
-
5 years’ experience in Industrial Business or powertrain segment.

Experience working within a global, multi-branded organization.
-
Results-oriented.
Experience with OEMs in North America Region
Preferred Qualifications/Nice To Have

Prior relationships with OEMs.

History of building strategic business plan identifying current gaps and leveraging brand strengths.

AG/CE, Industrial, power generation, Marine engine and machine knowledge.

Strong ability to self-start initiatives and function independently without management supervision.
