We are partnering with a leading integrated communications agency in Qatar to appoint a Business Director to drive strategic growth, client leadership, and commercial performance.

This is a senior leadership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, client partnership, and business development.

The Role

As Business Director, you will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of high-profile clients, leading senior client relationships, and driving revenue growth. You will play a pivotal role in shaping strategic direction, expanding accounts, and identifying new business opportunities across the Qatari market.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a portfolio of retained and project-based accounts
• Act as senior strategic advisor to clients across corporate, government, and brand mandates
• Drive business development efforts and convert new opportunities
• Oversee integrated campaign delivery across PR, digital, social, and content
• Ensure commercial targets, profitability, and revenue growth are achieved
• Mentor and lead high-performing client servicing teams
• Contribute to agency positioning and market expansion strategy

Ideal Profile

• 10+ years’ experience in communications, PR, or integrated marketing
• Proven track record in senior client leadership within an agency environment
• Strong commercial acumen and experience managing P&L or revenue targets
• Established network within Qatar (government, corporate, or semi-government sectors preferred)
• Confident in pitching, stakeholder management, and strategic planning
• Experience leading and developing teams
