JOB SUMMARY
The Business & Financial Analyst role supports the business strategy and objectives through data-driven analysis, reporting, and financial planning.
NOTE: This role is hybrid and requires 3 days a week in our Phoenix, AZ office.
RESPONSIBILITIES / JOB DUTIES

Data and Financial Analysis: Perform analysis with financial and business reports and data to generate insights to support business decisions.

Reporting: Create, maintain, and review periodic and ad hoc business and financial reports.

Data visualization: Create meaningful charts, graphs, and tables to communicate insights and trends.

Data accuracy: Research, identify, and explain data variances and errors in periodic and ad hoc reports.

Plan and Forecast: Update existing models with historical data, incorporate business partner input, and identify options to resolve budget constraints.

Business Partner Support: Present insights from data and financial analysis, forecasts, and budgets to business partners.

Projects: Assist internal and business partner-led projects with business data and financial analysis.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
-
Strong mathematical and analytical capacity.
-
Knowledge of accounting principles or database principals.
-
Spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets) and Presentation software (Powerpoint, Google Slides).

Working knowledge of Tableau and BigQuery, SQL, and Python, - or - Workday Accounting and Adaptive Planning software.

Proficient Business Writing.

Understanding of MWG business models (Preferred).

Basic understanding of AGILE practices.
EDUCATION, COMPETENCIES, CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES
-
Bachelor's degree in related area or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
-
2-4 years of experience conducting financial and/or business analysis.
