Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated business sponsor Fundraiser to join our team. The ideal candidate will play an important role implementing fundraising strategies to support our mission. This position requires a proactive individual who can build relationships, manage projects, and engage with diverse stakeholders to secure funding for our initiatives. Job is hourly with potential for commissions.
Duties
- Develop and execute sponsorship fundraising efforts, schedule and plans to meet organizational goals.
- Conduct research to identify potential funding sponsors/donors, including corporate sponsorships, and individual donors.
- Write compelling sponsorship requests and prepare reports that effectively communicate our mission and community service impact.
- Utilize database and other office software, along with personal notekeeping records to track donor interactions and manage relationships.
- Collaborate with management to create promotional materials that enhance public relations efforts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, and community partners through effective relationship management.
- Monitor fundraising progress and provide regular updates to management on outcomes.
- Participate in planning sessions to align fundraising efforts with organizational objectives.
Skills
- Proficiency in database software and other standard office software (i.e. Word, graphics suites, etc.)for effective donor management.
- Strong marketing skills to promote fundraising initiatives effectively.
- Excellent planning abilities to develop actionable fundraising strategies.
- Experience with fundraising and philanthropy is highly desirable.
- Strong and/or proven interpersonal skills and aptitude developing relationships with people of various backgrounds.
- Strong writing and persuasive speaking skills to secure donations from various sources.
- Strong research skills to identify new donor and sponsor funding opportunities and trends.
- Strong committment to the values, character and principles of CVEF - KACS.
- Proven experience in donornrelationship management, fostering connections with donors and community partners.
- Excellent donor client service skills to ensure positive interactions and on-going relationship with all sponsors.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 29 per week
