Job Title: Business Head – Sportswear

Job Summary

We are hiring a Business Head – Sportswear to lead and scale the sportswear business across Saudi Arabia. The role will own P&L, drive commercial strategy, expand retail & distribution, and deliver sustained revenue growth through strong brand execution, merchandising, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Business & Commercial Leadership

  • Own full P&L for the sportswear category (revenue, gross margin, costs, profitability).
  • Develop and execute annual business plan, growth strategy, and market expansion roadmap.
  • Drive sales growth across retail stores, wholesale, and ecommerce channels.
  • Identify new opportunities: partnerships, franchise, multi-brand retail expansion, and key accounts.

Retail & Channel Expansion

  • Lead store performance, improve LFL growth, and drive productivity metrics (conversion, ATV, UPT).
  • Oversee store network expansion, location strategy, and rollout planning with real estate teams.
  • Build strong relationships with key channel partners and distributors.

Merchandising & Category Management

  • Work closely with merchandising to optimize assortment planning, pricing, promotions, and inventory allocation.
  • Drive seasonal calendar planning and ensure brand alignment in product execution.
  • Ensure healthy inventory turns, reduce aging stock, improve sell-through.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead and develop teams across sales, retail operations, merchandising, marketing, and planning.
  • Set targets, KPIs, and performance governance across regions and stores.
  • Coach and build a strong execution culture.

Brand & Marketing Execution

  • Partner with marketing team for campaigns, product launches, and in-store activations.
  • Ensure consistent brand presentation across stores and digital platforms.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • 10+ years experience in Sportswear / Footwear / Apparel retail, with at least 3–5 years in senior leadership role.
  • Proven record managing P&L and business scale-up in KSA or GCC markets.
  • Strong understanding of retail KPIs, merchandising, inventory planning, and commercial strategy.
  • Experience with brands like Nike / Adidas / Puma / Skechers / Under Armour / Reebok / New Balance or multi-brand sports retailers is a plus.
  • Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and leadership skills.
