Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically driven Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will transform complex data into actionable insights that drive business decisions, leading to better products and increased revenue. This role involves applying data mining and statistical analysis to develop and manage high-quality BI solutions, such as reports and dashboards, that identify trends and optimize key business drivers. Key Responsibilities

• Collect, move, store, transform, and optimize data for business decisions.
• Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions, including interactive dashboards and reports that are easily consumed by business channels.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications for BI reports and applications.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from various sources.
• Perform advanced data mining using state-of-the-art methods.
• Analyze e-commerce platforms, including customer experience, sales funnel performance, and the ROI of multiple marketing touchpoints.
• Enhance data collection procedures to include information relevant for building analytic systems.
• Research and develop analysis and forecasting methods to improve business outcomes.
• Present data-driven findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field with 1-3 years of relevant experience.
• OR a high school diploma or equivalent with 3+ years of relevant experience in a data analysis or business intelligence role.

Required Skills & Experience

• SQL: Proven proficiency in writing, optimizing, and troubleshooting complex SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.
• Power BI: Hands-on experience creating reports, dashboards, and utilizing DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).
• Advanced Data Mining & Analysis: Demonstrated experience in advanced data mining, statistical analysis, and interpreting complex datasets. This includes excellent applied statistics skills (distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc.).
• Data Modeling: Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL, and best practices to support analytics and reporting needs.
• Microsoft Office Suite: Advanced proficiency, with expert-level skills in Microsoft Excel (e.g., PivotTables, Power Query, complex formulas).
• Web Analytics: Proficiency with web analytics platforms such as GA4, Ruler, or Fullstory.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)

• Scripting Languages: Experience with scripting languages, such as Python.
• Transformation Tools: Experience with DBT.
• Cloud Fundamentals: Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure.
• AI: An interest in and encouragement to use AI to enhance analytics and processes.
• Project Management Tools: Experience with Monday.com.
• CRM Systems: Familiarity with CRMs like Salesforce.

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
