BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE ANALYST (Power BI)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst with a focus on Power BI to support reporting and analytics for our Finance team. In this role, you will help build dashboards, reports, and data models that give visibility into Victra’s financial and operational performance. This role reports to the Business Intelligence Manager.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a foundational understanding of business intelligence who is excited to grow their skills in data modeling, analytics, and working closely with business partners. You will gain hands-on experience and have the chance to learn and develop in a collaborative environment, working closely with cross-functional teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for Finance and business stakeholders.
• Build and enhance data models using established best practices.
• Create and modify DAX measures to support KPIs and business logic.
• Use Power Query (M) to clean, transform, and prepare data.
• Partner with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements.
• Validate data accuracy and troubleshoot reporting issues.
• Support automation efforts to reduce manual reporting processes.
• Document data definitions and reporting logic.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• 1–3 years of experience in business intelligence or data analysis, including building dashboards and reports with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Working knowledge of DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling concepts.
• Knowledge using SQL.
• Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment

NICE TO HAVE

• Finance, sales or operational reporting experience.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with Claude Code or ChatGPT Codex is a plus.
• Exposure to working with large datasets.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Experience in the consumer, retail, or telecom industry.
