Business Intelligence Analyst

Position Purpose

The BI Analyst will act as a strategic business partner, transforming complex data into meaningful insights that support informed decision-making.The role focuses on developing modern, cloud-based BI and reporting solutions aligned with the organization’s data transformation journey.

This position supports advanced analytics, data migration initiatives, and executive-level reporting to drive measurable business value.

Job Description

1. Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence and reporting solutions to support strategic and operational decisions.
2. Support migration of on-premises data sources to modern, scalable cloud data platforms.
3. Collaborate with data engineering and technology teams to define data models and reporting architectures.
4. Develop high-quality, trusted datasets ensuring accuracy, performance, and governance standards.
5. Build intuitive, user-centric Power BI dashboards and reports for diverse stakeholders.
6. Translate complex analytical outputs into clear, actionable insights using data storytelling techniques.
7. Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and convert them into data-driven solutions.
8. Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership and executive management.
9. Continuous improvement of BI frameworks based on business needs and feedback.
10. Identify opportunities to enhance data architecture, analytics maturity, and reporting effectiveness.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
• 4 to 6 years of relevant experience.

Requirements / Skills & Experience

• Strong SQL expertise across modern cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure SQL, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, Databricks).
• Advanced Power BI development experience with a proven portfolio of dashboards and reports.
• Hands-on experience in migrating on-premises databases to cloud environments.
• Solid understanding of modern data architectures including data lakes, data warehouses, and lakehouse models.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments.
