We're looking for someone to join our team as a Business Intelligence Analyst III who:

Position Summary:

Business Intelligence Analyst III is a senior-level role responsible for leading data initiatives, developing high-impact analytics solutions, and driving enterprise-wide data strategies. This role requires deep expertise in data modeling, statistical analysis, BI tool optimization, and advanced SQL development. The analyst partners with key clinical, operational, and financial stakeholders to enhance data-driven decision-making and improve performance outcomes. Additionally, this position is expected to work independently with minimal supervision and is crucial for mentoring junior analysts, developing data governance policies, and implementing emerging BI technologies to improve reporting capabilities.


Essential Functions:

Key Responsibilities

  • Support in leading the design, development, and deployment of advanced reporting and analytics solutions that support enterprise-wide decision-making.
  • Optimize data models to improve reporting efficiency, scalability, and accuracy.
  • Perform advanced statistical and predictive analytics, leveraging regression modeling and forecasting techniques to provide actionable insights.
  • Develop and refine SQL queries for complex data extraction, transformation, and performance tuning in Epic Clarity, Caboodle, and other data platforms.
  • Develop operational reporting using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
  • Develop advanced analytical reporting and dashboards using Power BI or Tableau
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity by proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies in multiple data sources.
  • Lead and support data governance initiatives by establishing best practices for data standardization, documentation, and compliance.
  • Evaluate and support the implementation of new BI technologies and methodologies, enhancing the organization’s analytics capabilities.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, Business, Mathematics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience writing complex T-SQL/PL-SQL query-based reports with tools such as SSRS or Crystal Reports.
  • 2+ years of experience with advanced analytical tools such as Power BI / Tableau
  • 5+ years of experience in business process analysis, business intelligence, data analytics, or reporting, with a proven track record of leading data-driven initiatives.
  • Expert-level T-SQL/PL-SQL skills, including joins, subqueries, common table expressions (CTEs), and query optimization.
  • Deep expertise in Epic reporting tools (e.g., Clarity, Caboodle, Reporting Workbench) and advanced analytical tools such as Power BI.
  • Experience in healthcare analytics, including regulatory reporting (UDS, HEDIS, MACRA, CMS), is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of relational database management systems (RDBMS) and data warehousing best practices.
  • Ability to lead complex analytics projects and work independently on high-priority data challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis, data modeling, and forecasting techniques, with experience using tools like R, and Python (desirable).
  • Proven ability to mentor junior analysts and drive BI best practices across teams.
