We have an exciting new role as
Business Intelligence Analyst (UOQ)
for our UAE, Oman and Qatar business clusters. In this role you will play a key role in turning data into insights, supporting the Category team on on-going evaluation with trackers and reports to optimize the performance of our Categories and Retailer partners. This role is based from our Jebel Ali office in Dubai.
How Would You Make An Impact

Business partner for the local commercial teams for day-to-day business reviews as well as retailer engagements (JBPs)

Provide tailored Nielsen & EPOS reports/dashboards (using regional MSI templates) as well as support both category development manager and/or customer growth manager in developing their data analysis and storytelling capabilities

Manage local level data related projects like EPOS data management, FTI, flyer trackers, pricing surveys, perfect store tracking etc.

Partner Regional MSI in the Stage 1 IBP Insights generation

Strong functional alignment with Regional MSI for protocols, systems, processes
What Will Make You Successful In This Role
-
The ideal candidate would have at least 3-5 years’ experience across the research or insights world

Essential data handling experience working with Nielsen retail audit, Kantar Household panel and Epos (Power BI user experience) and the ability to tell a story out of the data.

Highly numerate and analytical with excellent problem solving skills.

Utilising data from various sources to provide accurate insights

Tech-Savvy – should be familiar with about different data extraction tools of Power BI, Nielsen & Kantar and presentation tools specifically Power Point.

Knowledge and understanding of different quantitative research methodologies and analysis
