About the Role
At Uber, we believe that electrification and renewable systems are no longer a nice-to-have", but a
climate imperative and a
platform shift that will reshape the economics, experience, and infrastructure underpinning our next chapter across Rides, Delivery, and Freight.
This is a unique opportunity to join the core Electrification & Sustainability (E&S) team as a "player-coach." You will lead the global central Business Intelligence & Analytics group, providing direct strategic support to the Mobility electrification team while managing a small team of analysts supporting our other business units and growth bets. You will apply your strategic leadership and quantitative skills to Uber's E&S efforts across all lines of business.
We are confident that the long-term future of Mobility is electric, autonomous, and shared, for two reasons:
- Economics: Over time and at scale, EVs - and then AVs - deliver the lowest total cost structure in terms of capital and operating expenses. We're not there everywhere yet, but the direction is clear.
- Customer experience: EVs/AVs are inherently a better product - they provide quieter, smoother, safer, and increasingly software-defined riding experiences.
Your role will be to help us pressure test these assumptions, and to find ways to accelerate towards this future by making Uber the world's best platform for EVs.
