The
Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer
will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data systems and dashboards that drive strategic and operational decisions across the company. This position requires a balance of technical expertise in data modeling, visualization, and ETL pipeline development, along with strong business understanding to convert complex data into actionable insights for leadership and field teams.
Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and manage ETL processes to gather and consolidate data from multiple systems (CRM, ERP, scheduling platforms, customer databases, etc.).

Ensure data quality, accuracy, and governance through validation, documentation, and access control best practices.

Develop, maintain, and optimize interactive BI dashboards and reports to monitor business performance.

Collaborate with teams across operations, finance, marketing, and customer experience to define requirements and provide data-driven insights.

Analyze business trends, identify improvement opportunities, and provide recommendations to support strategic goals.

Promote and support the adoption of BI tools and foster data literacy throughout the organization.
Required:

Bachelor’s degree with
3+ years of experience
as a BI Engineer, Data Analyst, or Data Engineer.

Proficiency in
Python
or other scripting languages for data transformation and ingestion.

Strong knowledge of
ETL processes
and
data modeling
(e.g., star schema, snowflake).

Experience integrating data via
APIs
across SaaS and business systems (e.g., CRM, ERP, Google Ads, Meta Ads).

Expertise in
SQL
and working with relational databases (MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.).

Hands-on experience with
BI visualization tools
such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred:

Familiarity with
Microsoft BI and cloud tools
(Azure, Synapse, Fabric, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate).

Experience in
field services, HVAC, or home services
industries is an advantage.
