Job Summary

• This vacancy is being posted at the ITS4 and ITS5 levels. Only one (1) vacancy will be filled, and the classification will be determined by the selected candidate’s qualifications.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Azure tech stack like Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Fabric, Power BI.
• Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and Power BI Service.
• Programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis and automation.
• SQL and experience with data modeling and database design.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Ability to deliver effective verbal or written messages that facilitate a mutual understanding on both parties.
• Customer service skills that include active listening, empathy, and problem-solving.

• Leading and guiding other staff with Azure tech stack like Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Fabric, Power BI.
• Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and Power BI Service.
• Programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis and automation.
• SQL and experience with data modeling and database design.
• Cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Ability to deliver effective verbal or written messages that facilitate a mutual understanding on both parties.
• Customer service skills that include active listening, empathy, and problem-solving.

A master's degree in Information Technology or an IT related field substitutes for three (3) years of experience, OR an IT related bachelor's degree substitutes for two (2) years, OR an IT related associate's degree substitutes for one (1) year.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficient or expert in at least two of the minimum qualifications.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R data analysis and automation.
• Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and their application in BI.
• Strong project management skills, including experience with Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with data governance frameworks and establishing data quality standards in a government environment.
