Your role

We are currently looking for a dynamic individual to further develop the Oil-Free Air Division (OFA) in the market. The business environment is challenging with regards to competition & existing strong customer base promising for further growth & moving into new market segments.

The OFA Business Line Manager is a key leadership role within Atlas Copco, responsible for driving profitable growth of a business line, developing people and strengthening customer relationships. Acting as both a strategist and hands-on leader, BLM ensures that market potential is maximized through innovative solutions, sustainable practices, and a strong customer focus.

The Business Line Manager should be ambitious with a growth oriented and entrepreneurial mindset and have strong strategic and executional skills.

  • Lead strategic Large Account management activities, ensuring strong penetration, retention, and sustainable year-over-year growth.
  • Build and execute Large Account business plans, including pipeline development, opportunity mapping and competitive positioning.
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts (service, technical, finance, logistics) to deliver seamless and tailored solutions for Large Accounts.
  • Monitor complex tender processes and lead end-to-end commercial negotiations with key customers providing total solutions and project management
  • Achieve ambitious profitable growth targets with high focus on market share & consolidated profitability
  • Interact with the global divisional marketing to develop & implement business marketing plans & give feedback on product trends & competition development
  • Direct and indirectly (via mid-managers) lead, develop & motivate a relatively large sales and support team
  • Contribute to the development of systems, sales tools & training to achieve a competitive advantage in the market.

** BLM will report to the General Manager.

Overall responsibility for the Oil Free Air (OFA) business development through the implementation of the optimal marketing mix of product – price – promotion – place – people. In practice, this optimal mix will be implemented through a yearly marketing plan.

Your mission is to further develop the business in accordance with the divisional targets. While focusing on higher customer satisfaction, strive for better market penetration & higher profitability.

  • Engineering Degree in a relevant field, or equivalent.
  • MBA or studies in Business Management, Marketing, or Finance are highly valued.
  • Advanced proficiency in English.
  • Proven experience in managing large or multi-stakeholder corporate customers and P&L management
  • At least 5 years of proven sales & marketing experience in the Compressed Air Industry and proven track record of sustainable growth & reaching targets
  • Demonstrated success in long-cycle strategic sales, tender management, and multi-year commercial agreements
  • Ability to build senior-level relationships and influence decision-making within large organizations
  • An entrepreneurial growth mindset, taking ownership of driving business forward.
  • Strong strategic, execution skills and conceptual thinking
  • Strong business & commercial sense with the ability to analyze data to determine business trends - good standard of presentation skills
  • A clear vision & ability to achieve results from action plans derived from a solid strategic platform
