Role Overview
The Business Manager will hold full ownership of sales performance and P&L delivery across all consumer categories. This role leads multi-channel sales operations and is accountable for revenue growth, margin optimization, inventory control, and team development. The position reports directly to senior commercial leadership and plays a critical role in shaping medium- to long-term business sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver annual sales volume, revenue, and profitability targets across all categories.

Lead and manage multi-channel sales teams including Modern Trade, Traditional Trade, and Trade Marketing.

Drive execution of core sales fundamentals including distribution, pricing, planograms, trade agreements, and channel profitability.

Develop annual budgets covering volumes, headcount, overheads, and capex, with regular forecasting and performance reviews.

Lead negotiations with business partners on margins, pricing structures, and promotional spend.

Maintain tight control over inventory through forecasting, ordering discipline, and working capital management.

Identify and develop new business opportunities to accelerate growth.

Build customer-specific category strategies covering assortment, promotions, and portfolio optimization.

Establish effective organization structures, recruit talent, lead performance appraisals, and build succession plans.

Ensure operational control over expenses, stock, receivables, and exceptional transactions.

Coach teams on key account management, negotiation skills, and P&L-driven decision making.
Must Haves:

Postgraduate qualification in Sales, Marketing, or Business Administration.

Minimum 10+ years of experience in FMCG sales leadership, ideally within large-scale distribution with prior experience in the impulse category.

Proven experience managing full P&L responsibility.

Strong commercial, analytical, and negotiation skills.

Current or prior GCC experience is strongly preferred.
