Business Development Manager branch in Abu Dhabi!

Main responsibilities:

  • Active work looking for new Customers in the UAE market, majoring in selling project logistics services.
  • Establishment and maintenance of a plan of meetings with the Customers.
  • Attraction of new Customers, retention and development of Customers.
  • Work with sales lists to ensure on-time closure of set objectives.
  • Responsible for the management and handling of the **RFQ/ BOQ’s** response documents coming to the company for Contract Logistics Business.
  • Visit market / Introduce our company & generate new business deals **(Local/ International Markets).
  • Develop and maintain Capex procedures as per policy for RFQ and new business submissions.
  • Target to patch up with **Construction / Oil & Gas/ Air/Road/ ** control authorities.
  • Develop new business for the company through approaching new business customers, as defined on the local sales KPI’s.*
  • Conclusion and maintenance of contracts, negotiating payment terms; monitoring and updating of contracts and related agreements; registering all the requirements and agreements in the electronic document management system.
  • Identification of regularity of Customer’s needs (regular, sporadic, seasonal, projective) and registering the information in the Customer’s portfolio.
  • Evaluation of Customer satisfaction and the work on nonconformity.
  • Usage of the CRM system to document client activity, create proposals, process orders, and forecast sales.
  • Responsible for developing a plan to achieve the sales target
  • Responsible for carrying out prospecting calls

· Responsible for establishing and managing relationships with customers in need of the firm’s freight transportation services

· Register the company with all valuable local business-oriented companies.

· Develop new business for the company through approaching new business customers, as defined on the local sales KPI’s.

· Develop a new business prospect listing to ensure that future new business development is planned in advance.

· Maintain all account and new business approaches and outcomes in C-view.

· Generate and distribute specific reports as required in alignment with the position

· Coordinate and follow and follow up **Rental / Leasing / x-Selling **activities within the department.

· Maintain close working relationships with the Customer Service, Operations and Contract Logistics team.

· Focus on winning and keeping profitable business.

· Develop and maintain Capex procedures as per policy for RFQ and new business submissions.

· Maintain and manage the financial forecast and cost module projections for new business submissions.

· Undertake cross-selling and up-selling within the existing customer base to further develop account potential through, **value-added products and contract logistics.

· Manage and coordinate all commercial activities of a defined vertical group of customers with the customer service team, in line with the company’s short and long-term results & targets.

· Represents the company and its policies to the clients, which are defined as “Strategic Accounts.

· Develop SOP’s for strategic accounts in association with Site Manager, Operations Manager, and associates' internal colleagues where applicable, to detail all processes, rate structure, and capturing of customer-identified KPI’s.

Our expectations:

  • 7+ experience in Project Logistics Sales;
  • Deep knowledge of Project oil & Gas industry;
  • Experience with projects in the Middle East.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and negotiation skills;
  • Proactive approach;
  • Ability to work both individually and in a team.
  • Preference to candidates with their own portfolio of contacts/Customers.
